Elliot-
What? What was his man saying? I-- I am so confused.
A legend? Nii-san? He... has changed, but what?
"Mister.... It may be true that Nii-san has changed but... Who are you to go delving into the backgrounds of the noble families? Who are you to threaten me? The second child, and first ... no second son of a noble family?" I stood brushing my pants of the dust from the floor, glaring at him coldly, come any closer to him, and you'll never receive your information." I turned around to return back to manor, my hands clenched into fists and my teeth clamped together in order to hide the shivering that betrayed my fear.

"Rion, why does Father never come to see me? No matter how much I study, not even on my birthday, not even for special events.
... Does Father hate me?"
He stood up and said, "Well then, let's go ask him." with a comforting smile on his face,
"No Hyung! I--- I'm too afraid. To know the truth."
He turned towards me and ruffled my hair lightly, "Well, I want to know,"
I snuck into the hallway hearing Hyung, in an abnormally formal tone, "Father, please visit Elliot. He has only seen you once throughout his whole lifetime."
"You should not be speaking out of turn Rion." I could feel the slivers of hate from Father's eyes pass through me. These ice slivers that hurt when ever I breathed.
"Then just answer the question! Why do you refuse to see Elliot? Why do you refuse to see your precious genius son?"
A burst of laughter shook Father's perfect form, "Precious? Is that what you thought?" Rion's head jerked to the side, bearing the impact of Father's hand. "I would be happy, if a child like him was never born. A child of misfortune like him."
I gasped, Father, father... He, he just HIT Hyung! I ran in between Father and Hyung, rage and fear coursing through me. "Fa--Father! You do not have my permission to hit Hyung!" my voice shaking as I tackled Father.
And just as quickly I was sprawled on the ice floor, aching everywhere and my tears dripping like snow to the ground.
"Don't touch me you filthy being." He nodded towards the guards who were watching us with unseeing eyes as they took hold of us. His figure continued to descend upon the hall as.... as.... as the one thing I never wanted to admit came true. I'm useless. I'm dirty. I'm stained.
"Rion.... I'm... dirty right? I don't have any right to belong here. No one wants me here. So... I can just leave right?" I looked up from the floor at my beloved hyung's face. No emotion, I smiled. See? Even the person I love the most in the world doesn't care.
"Elliot. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. SHUT UP." His voice echoed around the hall. Not touching me.
"He never loved me Hyung, he never will, he never has. And--- neither will you. I'm nothing more that a child. A simple, stupid child. Who knows nothing. That's fine. Because I am a stupid ignorant useless unneeded child. I serve no purpose in this world."
He looked down at me coldly. "Elliot. Shut. Your. Mouth. You. Know. Absolutely. Nothing." He shook the guards off and sauntered down the hallway.

Was that when he changed? Then.. It's all my fault? Again? Why do I keep on living? I've already proved so many times that it would be so much better with me dead. I don't want to know why he changed, I don't want to know the new Rion Nightray that doesn't remember me. I want to stay the same. I want to live in the past. Please. Let me stay the way I was before and live in my memories, don't taint my beautiful memories of Hyung. Tears dripped down my throat, hidden beneath my collar. I wiped the remains of my tears as I saw the outline of Eliza in the doorway of our home, the home we used to be so happy in, together.

Rion-
I looked at the vast sky, and envied it's strength and power. I am also strong, and I try to stay optimistic, but sometimes, I wish there would be someone who would take my hand and tell me that everything was alright.
Sometimes the loneliness was overwhelming. Being alone, not being able to talk to anyone about myself, being happy and optimistic all the time. I lay down, my legs dangling off of the cliff, and contemplated dying. Right then. Sanji wasn't there to stop me. And I didn't have any other valuable bonds. Maybe she would miss me, but as is human nature, things will pass and I will be forgotten or stored away "in memoriam". I stared hungrily at the ocean that's waves surged higher and higher towards me, and I willed myself to join them. I stood, facing the endless waves, eager for me to join the countless bodies that already swam lifeless among its waters. I started to take a step off the cliff---But the cold metal around my neck reminded me that I had something to do first, so I turned around, fingering the ring on the chain around my neck.

Sanji-
The door swung open and a dark tall figure stood at the entrance. I hurriedly picked up the ball I was playing with as I struggled to see who it was.
The steady clack of his heels brought the dark figure closer.
No...It's Father.
I dropped the ball and it silently rolled away leaving me behind - all alone - to face Father.
"Did I not say explicitly that I do not ever wish to see your face?"
I stared into his cold green eyes; they were exactly like mine, but they weren't nearly as anxious. They weren't nearly as afraid.
"I have not seen you in years, Father. Did you have a good time at your latest trip?" My voice felt airy and barely audible.
We looked the same. The same eyes, the same posture, the same complexion - only Father's hair was different. It was a pure golden. I had long black hair, just like Mother used to have.
"How dare you steal the life of Shivani and still have the courage to speak to me, you murderer," Father spat. "You are such a disappointment. So weak. Shivani had her life stolen by a stupid little girl. Do not ever think you will get any property, much less be my heir.
I took a small step back.
"Jerome, take her away. And this time, make sure I never have to see her face ever again."
With the sound of Father's voice resounding over and over again in my ears - with the disgusted look of Father's face appearing over and over again in front of my eyes - I ran out the door.
I ran farther and farther away. Tears ran down my cheeks one by one, feeling unnaturally warm against my icy skin.
I stopped by the river and gazed at its swirling waters briskly running out towards the sea, then collapsed.
I took a sharp stone and little by little, I cut it all away. A voice seemed to call out, but I was too frustrated, too determined to hear it. Soon, long bundles of long black hair lay at my feet.
I stood up and looked at the wide expanse of land beyond the river.
I'm sorry Mother, but I am unprepared to carry this burden. I've changed now. I cannot keep crying. Don't worry Mother, everything will be all right. When the time comes, I'll make everything right.
